Relationship building and influence

Assessed and coached a senior technology leader on interpersonal communications and relationship building that fundamentally shifted how he collaborated with others and his own wellbeing. He went on to lead a high stakes merger and successfully manage a new global team of great strategic importance to the company.

Resilience and agility

Worked with a senior investment executive to develop new capabilities and practices that enabled him to effectively navigate volatility and manage a newly virtual team in the time of COVID. He gained greater calm and an enhanced ability to see new strategies, possibilities and ideas.

Preparing for CEO role

Supported a senior leader in financial services to develop the vision and strategic point of view that enabled her to rise into a CEO role. Once she was in the new role, we worked on how she led and developed a values-based culture and strong executive team.

Managing conflict

Coached a newly promoted senior leader to shift from being “the smartest guy in the room,” whose style generated a lot of toxic conflict, to being someone who united the team. He learned to listen deeply, open up to influence by others and speak the truth in a respectful way.

Leading change

Worked with a leader who was hired to modernize a department at a philanthropic foundation and facing intense resistance. A 360-degree assessment created clarity on exactly where a shift to her approach would create a breakthrough. She was able to build alignment and led a change that became a new standard at the organization and beyond.

Communicating effectively

Coached a leader at a technology company who didn’t understand why she kept getting bypassed for promotion. A 360-degree assessment uncovered that she wasn’t communicating in ways needed at a senior level. Through our work together, she learned how to communicate more strategically and concisely, and she got the promotion she wanted and the senior leader the organization needed.
